populärkulten: The April Close-down Playlist 2021

Finland moves to a partly close-down mode from Monday. Three weeks with more restrictions due to the ongoing corona crises. Covid-19 vaccine campaign is underway (last statistic was 8 percent of the population). It is a slow start, but it is a start. However, fatigue is setting in, here as well as everywhere, when it comes to this cover-19 crises. And at the moment it is worse than ever in Finland. Therefore close-down, and even some talk of curfew. That doesn't feel necessary now in a country with so few inhabitants. A stricter close-down for a short period makes more sense. It was a successful policy to handle the crisis last spring, too.

It is time for some seriously good news now, because better days are coming.

Let's hope this is the last needed close-down.

Partiell nedstängning startar från måndagen i Finland, covid-19 krisen är igen i ett kritiskt skede, värre än någonsin här, sett till antalet fall. Låt oss hoppas det är den sista nedstängningen. Utegångsförbud vore helt överdrivet i vårt fem-miljonersland, men strikt nedstängning en kortare tid var en klok politik även i fjol våras. Dags för några verkligt goda nyheter nu. Och hoppas detta är det mörka djupet före det verkligen blir bättre tider. Hoppet lever.
